F1 News: Barcelona T2 Day 2 – Pirelli

Barcelona, February 27, 2015 – The second of four test days ended at 6pm in Barcelona (Spain). It started with a partially cloudy sky in the early morning, then temperatures peaked up to 17°C ambient and 31°C asphalt, which are the warmest conditions experienced so far after 10 days of pre-season testing in Spain.

Track remained dry all day.

After 3pm, a red flag stopped running briefly as a result of the Red Bull of Kvyat stopping on the track.
Before lunchtime, the new Force India made its debut, having arrived at the circuit in the night. Hulkenberg had to stop following a left-rear deflation which proved to be caused by a rim failure. He was then able to continue running during the afternoon.

A second red flag was caused by the McLaren of Button stopping on the circuit at around 4.30PM. The session restarted with just 6 minutes to go.
