Hinwil, 18th August 2014 – After a two week summer break, Formula One and, therefore, the Sauber F1 Team returns to the race track in Spa-Francorchamps. The Sauber F1 Team drivers, Adrian Sutil and Esteban Gutiérrez, are looking forward to the Belgian Grand Prix, taking place from the 22nd to 24th August. Test and reserve driver Giedo van der Garde will again be behind the wheel in FP1 on Friday. Esteban Gutiérrez will take over in FP2. Read more of this post

Spa-Francorchamps has been synonymous with F1 for more than 60 years, and it’s where McLaren has enjoyed much success. The team scored its first world championship victory at the circuit in 1968 and it has won at the venue consistently ever since – including last year’s pole-to-flag victory for Jenson. F1 – 2012 Belgium Grand Prix Result – Renaultsport

Two Renault engined drivers stood on the podium following a classic Belgian Grand Prix at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit yesterday. Red Bull Racing’s Sebastian Vettel finished in second position after scything through the field from his starting slot of 10th, with Lotus F1 Team’s Kimi Raikkonen completing the podium in third.
