Greater Noida- 27 October – Felipe Massa finished fourth in the Indian Grand Prix and his Scuderia Ferrari team-mate, Fernando Alonso was eleventh. The Spaniard’s race was compromised at the first corner after the start. VETTEL SELECTS THE CORRECT TYRE STRATEGY AND BECOMES WORLD CHAMPION

Delhi, October 27, 2013 – Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel has become the youngest-ever four-time world champion at the Indian Grand Prix; only the fourth person in history to achieve four titles, with three of them won on Pirelli tyres. Vettel claimed the race with a two-stop strategy, starting on the P Zero Yellow soft and then completing two stints on the P Zero White medium. After scoring points in the last four races, the Sauber F1 Team leaves empty handed from the Indian Grand Prix in New Delhi. Up until a few laps before the end of the race Nico Hülkenberg was eighth, then a technical problem forced him to retire. Esteban Gutiérrez paid for his mistake early on in the race with a drive through penalty, because of a jump-start. This took away any chances of him scoring points. Read more of this post

DIFFERENT TYRE STRATEGIES SET FOR THE INDIAN GRAND PRIX

Delhi, October 26, 2013 – Sebastian Vettel has maintained his record of being quickest in every session held so far this year in India, thanks to pole position by three quarters of a second ahead of Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg. Vettel’s pole lap of 1m24.119s was set on the P Zero Yellow soft compound tyre, which has been nominated together with the P Zero White medium on a weekend when the German and his Red Bull team can seal both championships for the fourth consecutive year. Vettel’s pole lap was also the fastest-ever lap in the three-year history of the Buddh International Circuit in India. Both Red Bull and Mercedes have now clinched eight pole positions apiece so far this season. Read more of this post
